Son of drugs kingpin El Chapo 'released five days after being kidnapped by rival gang'
The son of imprisoned drug lord Joaquin ‘El Chapo’ Guzman and five other cartel members have been released after being abducted by a rival gang and held for five days.
Jesus Alfredo Guzman had been kidnapped by masked gunmen from the upscale La Leche restaurant in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, on Monday.
They were taken by the Jalisco New Generation cartel sparking fears of an all-out drug war.
CCTV images of the kidnapping had shown Guzman with his hands behind his head and on his knees as a man points a gun at him
