The 52-year-old allegedly visited his lawyer to discuss how to move forward in Los Angeles hours after Angelina met with her legal team.
“Brad only found out about the divorce decision yesterday,” a source told Us Weekly.
The insider allegedly that the Jolie-Pitts had been planning to fly to London this weekend but their family trip was cancelled on Monday. The same day Angelina filed for divorce.
It was also claimed that a shocking 'incident' allegedly sparked Angelina's decision to file for divorce.
The couple, who have been together for 12 years and married for two, seemingly split on September 15 according to the legal documents filed by Angelina on Monday.
“The final divorce decision was only made one week ago,” a source told the magazine.
“An incident took place and prompted [Angelina] to act and file.”
“She still says Brad is the love of her life, and the decision has weighed heavy on her heart,” the insider added.
“Her priority now is the children.”
