Hospital evacuated after ambulance explodes into flames outside A&E department killing patien



A patient has died after an ambulance exploded outside an A&E department, sparking a partial evacuation of the hospital.

Two medics were also reportedly injured
after the vehicle burst into flames at Naas General Hospital in Ireland this afternoon.

It is not yet clear what caused the fire, which resulted in a number of patients being evacuated from the building as a precaution.

Firefighters were dispatched to the scene in Craddockstown, County Kildare, after the ambulance set ablaze, the Irish Mirror reports.
