Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has criticised Manchester United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic for going public about their spat many years ago.


The former Sweden international played under Guardiola at Barcelona, but the pair fell out and Ibrahimovic was sold after just two years at the Nou Camp.

However, Ibrahimovic did not shy away from making comments about the current City boss in his interesting autobiography, admitting that Guardiola was a great coach but “not a man”.

“As a coach he was fantastic,” Ibrahimovic wrote in his autobiography.

“As a person I’ve no comments about that, that’s something else. He’s not a man, there’s nothing more to say.”
