Sky sports fans freak out after spotting 'GHOST' live on airSky Sports fans freaked out after spotting a unexplained ghostly figure live on air.
Viewers tuning into Monday Night Football earlier this week - following Sunderland's match against Everton - were disturbed after catching sight of a dark silhouette behind Jamie Carragher and Phil Neville .
The chilling apparition was seen walking across the deserted pitch before bizarrely disappearing into thin air.

Moments afterwards, Twitter was inundated with recordings of the televised footage.

One creeped out fan commented: "Did anyone else notice the ghost groundsman behind @Carra23 on #MNF when he was talking about Pep & GKs playing as outfielders @SoccerAM."
Another then added: "@SoccerAM #3rdeye Check out the ghost behind Phil Neville on MNF..."
Meanwhile, some viewers were amused by the ghostly figure.
