Cannibals had sex with woman in sauna and chopped up her body before eating her at a party

Two cannibals who had sex with a 31-year-old woman before killing her and eating her dismembered body parts at a party have been jailed for 12 years for murder .
The victim, Nadezhda Avakumova, was "drunk" when the men invited her to a sauna where they took turns having sex with her.

 
Court was told she was locked up and then stabbed in the throat after she threatened to report both men to the police for rape.
After killing the woman the men chopped up her body and cooked her remains - which were served to their friends at a macabre party.


"Metlyayev got an axe and started cutting the body into pieces.
"He took her cut off leg and walked around the house showing it to everyone, laughing and smiling.
"Women at the house were shocked despite being drunk. Metlyayev started eating the human meat and offering it to everyone to try it. He was having fun and smiling."

Later the men packed the woman's remains in plastic bags, dumped them in bins at the end of the street, and returned to continue the party.
The horrific incident in 2014 has taken two years to reach court.
The men were only prosecuted after the partner of one of pair revealed details to police.

Both men - whose ages were not given in Russian reports - pleaded guilty to killing the woman and were sentenced to 12 years in prison .
Nemykin was also ordered to pay 800,000 rubles - approximately £10,500 - in compensation to the mother of the victim.
