NBA Notice To All The Legal Practitioners

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that the President of the Nigerian Bar Association, A.B. Mahmoud SAN in his Press Statement released on Saturday 8th October 2016 in respect of the arrest of some selected Judicial Officers by the Department of State Security (DSS) did not call for strike or
boycott of courts in protest against the said arrest.

We hereby enjoin our colleagues to proceed with their normal activities in Courts this morning until contrary direction from the NBA National Secretariat.

I hope some people read wide and learn about menstrual health to stop the stereotype against young girls and women. "Yes my menses appeared 30 minutes to my performance and I had to put on a sanitary pad and still go on stage. "Menstruation is not a shame and I urge all young women take a cue from my actions and not to let it stop them from doing anything they want to do."

Over the weeks now Nigerians are being saddled with the news about the police refusing to leave the premises of a serving Senator, Dino Melaye, but some Nigerians online expect that this over-zealousness at getting the Senator could possibly be used in securing lives and properties of Nigerians on a daily basis.
