This is the heart-stopping moment a pedestrian cheated death by mere seconds.

CCTV footage shows how a car came terrifyingly close to colliding with the woman in Northern Ireland.


In the clip, the woman is shown walking along the Portstewart promenade in County Derry.

Within seconds of her disappearing from view, a car comes hurtling towards the spot she’d just vacated.
