The 'sweet' children, aged eight and six, were tragically pronounced dead at the scene of the blaze in Birmingham, West Midlands, today.
Their dad, Endris Mohammed, 46, was later found seriously injured in a burnt-out car, around 50 miles away from the property, police said.
He is fighting for his life in hospital as officers probe the 'suspicious' fire that led to the deaths of his small daughter and son.

The youngsters, named locally as Fasika and Tinesay, feature prominently on their dad's Facebook page, where they are called 'sweet' by an aunt.
