FG Has 4hrs And Few Seconds To NOT Deprive Dasuki His Right To Pay His Father, An Ex-Sultan Of Sokoto His Final Respect.

First and Foremost, The accused in question has not been convicted of any crime whatsoever in any court of competent jurisdiction. True, there are several Awaiting Trial inmates who have lost their family and who were refused to see or pay the last respect to them while in prison you may say. I also do not care whatever happened in 1985. I care about now. However, if setting the Dasukigate as a precedent, it may do justice to the very many in prison custody who needs to pay respect some day. Those are my concerns.

 I personally do not have any interest in this Dasuki persona, rather the interest of the overcrowded of the Awaiting Trial inmates who may go through this phase. May be now or in the future. What if he is finally found not guilty? Is This Meant to be a punishment? The FG has 6hrs to decide on this. Unless his release may pose a threat to the state, then i see no reasons not to release an him or anyone on that basis whether rich or poor.

 Awaiting Trial in prison does not mean one is a convict, he still has rights. Some would say its pay back time! Well, how true your story may be is really not my concern. When the President is out of office or seizes  to be the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, then a vendetta can not be meted on his enemies, after all, it was the mistakes or greed by his enemies that got him that WIN (this is for those who have the notion that the president is behide his incaceration. 

 Ok let me pause. Am trying so hard not to use my legal knowledge on this matter. I throw it open to you all. Is it right for the Federal Government To deprive the accused the last honour of paying his last respect to his late father, AN Ex Sultan Of Sokoto, according to the muslim rites and who has brought him thus far?
