I Do Not Want To Believe That The National Judicial Council Is Fantastically Confused.
Few weeks ago, the NJC released a press statement stating that the arrested Justices had on their own decided to step aside and not suspended. Yet they have again bowed to pressure and officially suspended them as against their earlier voluntary step down.
The judicial body had initially refused to suspend the accused judges but has now resolved to suspend them after the council’s meeting which took place between yesterday November 2nd and today November 3rd.

The suspension of the affected judges is contained in a communique issued at the end of the meeting, and signed by NJC’s Director of Information, Soji Oye.
