There are three certainties in life: death, taxes, and if you put disrespect on Queen Bey’s name, you’re gonna be sorry. Kanye West tempted two of these fates Saturday night at a concert in Sacramento, California—first by calling out Beyoncé, and then airing out Jay Z’s “killers.” Yes, in Trump’s America, even the hip-hop world is upside down: 
Gucci Mane is reading Malcolm Gladwell, Azealia Banks is throwing down with Maximus, and Kanye West, the man who once famously announced “George Bush doesn’t care about black people” on live television, is cowering at the feet of President-elect Donald “All Lives Matter” Trump. “This is a moment in the Matrix, bro!” exclaimed West in front of a packed crowd. ...

 Here's What went down:
– Someone from MTV told him before the VMAs that Beyoncé would only perform at the VMAs – if she won Video Of The Year over him and Hotline Bling.
– MTV told Kanye this so that so he wouldn’t run up on stage again.
– Kanye claims that politics were involved with the MAs & Beyonce’s Video Of The Year win.
– Says he is hurt by Beyoncé and that he’s been down for 7 years (remember Taylor Swift & VMAS)
– Says he knows Jay has “killers”
– Tells Jay-z to not send his “killers” after him
– Jay still has not called him.. Tells Jay to “call me bruh”
At the end of the rant he tells the press “get ready for a field day” drops the mic, leaves the stage and ends the show.

Her statement read in part;  "Regardless of my costume being transparent, my only option was to put on a sanitary pad and still go ahead to perform. I am a woman and I’m not ashamed of menstruating. "I want to urge every woman to resist being discriminated against because of menstruation. I hope some people read wide and learn about menstrual health to stop the stereotype against young girls and women. "Yes my menses appeared 30 minutes to my performance and I had to put on a sanitary pad and still go on stage. "Menstruation is not a shame and I urge all young women take a cue from my actions and not to let it stop them from doing anything they want to do."

Over the weeks now Nigerians are being saddled with the news about the police refusing to leave the premises of a serving Senator, Dino Melaye, but some Nigerians online expect that this over-zealousness at getting the Senator could possibly be used in securing lives and properties of Nigerians on a daily basis. What are his friends saying about this? why is there silence over this issue? Whose toes has the serving senator stepped on?
