Inspiration for the Nigerian youth in this recession

Neccesity they say is the mother of invention. To me, what i perceive this recession to be is a 'neccesity'. Neccesity in the form of a challenge to dig deep into our inner strengths to discover other ways of doing things in difficult times and achieving great results.


Most times in life, when there is no push, we do not discover the stuffs we are made of. Majority of us are so relaxed with that paid employment without thinking on having our own to also become an employer of labour, that we forget that some day we may loose the paid employment and start complaining about how useless the government is for not creating jobs.

At a time like this that employment is failing, companies are parking up and a lot of work forces are being retrenched, all we need to do is fall back to service. Yes! Service. Financial freedom comes from service rendering. When we look around us, oppourtunities abounds. The air we breathe has got a lot of inspiration in it, if only we can hear with our inner ears and see with our inner eyes.

When people complain no job, I always wonder, is it in this country where there are loads of problems to solve to the problem-solvers financial benefit? Even the recession has been a great source of financial blessings to some persons who took advantage of the problems on ground.

My candid advice to the Nigerian youth complaining and searching for one White, blue collar/ minial jobs is to discover self and lay their hands on services to render, no matter how minial it is, they can render.

Don't work hard; hardwork is not success, work smart; true wealth comes from smart and innovative work. Mark Zukerberg worked innovately smart and birthed facebook, now makes money effortlessly. You too can do the same. Innovate and invent. God bless u
