Prince Harry's reported new girlfriend Meghan Markle has been slammed in a scathing personal attack - by her own SISTER.

The royal has been enjoying secret dates with the US actress ,35, and is "besotted", it has been claimed.

But last night Meghan's sister Samantha hit out at her sibling, calling her "shallow", "narcissistic" and driven by "social climbing".

Samantha, who lives in Florida, claimed their father Tom has known for five months that Meghan is dating Harry but kept quiet.

Mum-of-three Samantha, who was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2008, claimed Meghan has always wanted to be a princess and preferred Prince Harry because she has a "soft spot for gingers”.

But Samantha also said Meghan's behaviour is "not befitting of a Royal Family member".

She told The Sun: "Meghan is narcissistic and selfish.

"I think the Royal Family would be appalled.”

Prince Harry is believed to have met Meghan in Toronto in the summer while promoting his Invictus Games for disabled service men and women.

Divorcee Meghan, 35, who stars in legal drama Suits, is claimed to have made several low-key visits to London to see Harry, where she has not only met his friends but also Prince William and Kate.

A source said: “He’s happier than he’s been for many years. He’s in a very relaxed period of his life and Meghan has come along at the right time.”
