The 32-year-old hasn’t played for the Red Devils since March and is yet to feature under Mourinho this season.
Schweinsteiger was initially told he could leave the club and was forced to train with the club’s U23s.

However, Mourinho’s since relaxed that ruling and reintroduced the former Germany captain into first team training earlier this month.

United are entering a period of seven matches in 20 days and Mourinho knows he needs his full squad at his disposal.

According to SportBild, Schweinsteiger was involved in United’s final training session before Sunday’s clash with the Hammers and is in line to feature against Slaven Bilic’s men.

There were 19 members involved in the training session – meaning one will miss out from Mourinho’s matchday squad but it could be that Schweinsteiger could be named as a substitute.
