Nicole Kidman's mum rushed to the hospital, later released into daughter Antonia's care
Janelle Kidman, 76, is reportedly recovering at home after she was taken to a hospital and held under observation in Sydney's North Shore, according to The Daily Telegraph. She was later released into her daughter Antonia Kidman's care.
So far, Nicole, 49, who is filming her upcoming movie Beguiled in New Orleans, hasn't flown to Australia to visit her mum since the incident, which a source said indicates that Janelle's hospitalisation wasn't a "serious" situation.
"They are of course concerned, but if it was anything super serious, Nicole would have been home straight away," a source told the publication.
Antonia, 46, who lives in Singapore with her husband and six children, reportedly happened to be in Sydney on a pre-arranged holiday when the incident occurred.
Nicole and her family have yet to respond to requests for comment about her mother's current health state.
