Honestly i could not stop laughing at the outburst of the judge, A rapist was told by a judge that he was ‘the most stupid defendant I have come across in a long time’.

Richard Yorke, 21, denied raping a pregnant woman, putting her through the ordeal of having to give evidence.

But Judge Sean Morris was in no mood for mincing his words and jailed him for five years and six months.

e told Yorke at Teesside Crown Court: ‘You are going to serve longer in prison than you need to (as) you didn’t have the guts to put your hands up in court.’

‘You are the most stupid defendant I have come across in a long time,’ he said as he questioned why he didn’t plead guilty.

‘Any sympathy a court has for a defendant goes out of the window when they plead not guilty.

‘A plea of guilty is the only way of showing sympathy – not whingeing emails after the event.’

The court was told that Yorke told his victim ‘I’m nearly there’ when she begged him to stop.

He apologised to her via email, but then went on to deny the ‘unpleasant and nasty’ attack in Middlsbrough.

The attack left his victim no longer able to trust men.

He is such an idiot.
