Reclaim of Sambisa Forest With Insurgents Running Into The City Is Not A Win. It's Calamity!

 

How about a round of applause and a standing ovation.  While i commend the Nigerian soldiers so far for their efforts, i believe their efforts and next line of action should remain a secret and kept away from the media. According to Tukur Buratai the Chief of Army Staff, The Army has reclaimed  'camp Zero' and The insurgents fled, fled to where? Into the towns and villages to wreck more havoc i guess. Did they also flee with the remaining missing Chibok girls? Like seriously i don't get it? Unless the Army has secretly captured some of the insurgents who upon interrogation may disclose sufficient information as to the whereabouts of these kids and the next line of action, there is still no safe haven yet.
 In the videos we see the boko haram with armoured jeeps and power ranger riffle, perhaps a picture of those burnt equipment can be released to the media to garner up hope.

 I do not think there is any reason to celebrate, no not yet.  Our fathers in the army have lost their lives, scores have died and Mr President is excited and boldly telling Nigerians that the insurgents who are faceless are now within the cities, is the most horrible news ever!  Do you really expect Nigerians to sleep in peace now?



Nigerians yesterday received one of the most soul-lifting messages yet from President Mohammadu Buhari: the routing of the terror sect Boko Haram from its stronghold of Sambisa Forest in Borno State.
The entire 1300 square kilometre forest fell into the   hands of the soldiers at about 1.35pm on Thursday, according to Buhari in what he himself called “the long-awaited and most gratifying news.”

He said he was delighted at the news and “most proud of the gallant troops,” which made it all possible.
He particularly acknowledged “the determination, courage and resilience of troops of Operation Lafiya Dole at finally entering and crushing the remnants of the Boko Haram insurgents at ‘Camp Zero’, which is located deep within the heart of Sambisa Forest.”
