A California woman who was afraid to have a C-section has proudly shared a graphic close-up photo of her new scar.

 Throughout her pregnancy, she updated followers with photos of her changing figure as she worked hard to stay in shape — but the toned mother-of-three's body changed forever after she had to undergo a C-section.
Though she was afraid at first, she's now proud of her new scar and happy with how the birth of her new baby went, and she's posted an intimate photo to make other mothers feel at peace with their cesarean scars.

"Yes my menses appeared 30 minutes to my performance and I had to put on a sanitary pad and still go on stage. "Menstruation is not a shame and I urge all young women take a cue from my actions and not to let it stop them from doing anything they want to do."
