Woman dead and children injured after multi-car crash.
A woman has died and three children are injured after a crash in Runnymede, north-east of Bendigo today.
Victoria Police believe a Toyota Prado 4WD with two women and four kids on board was towing a trailer with a car on it on the Northern Highway when it veered in to the oncoming lane after 3pm, colliding with an oncoming Volkswagen sedan with three adults in it.
A woman from the Volkswagen, who was a passenger in the back seat, died at the scene.
It's believed a 4WD drive was towing another car on a trailer when it collided with an oncoming car.
Runnymede is located between Bendigo and Echuca.
Two teenagers were airlifted to hospital.
Three adults in a stable condition were taken to Bendigo Hospital by ambulance.
Two teenagers were flown to the Royal Children's Hospital in Melbourne in a stable condition, and two adults and a toddler were taken to Echuca Hospital.
