Australian man woken by python slithering across his neck for second time in as many days

Australian man has woken for the second time this week to find a carpet python "slithering" across his neck as he lay asleep in his home in Brisbane, Queensland.

The three-foot python had made its way back from the nearby reserve where it was released after its first visit on Wednesday, when it bit him.

Max Mason, 79, "felt the same feeling — a cold, slithering feeling sliding up my shoulder across my neck," he told the Australian Broadcasting Corporation.
I think it's a once-in-the-lifetime sort of thing, good heavens, you wouldn't expect a snake to be slithering across your neck in the night as a regular occurrence
