Donald Trump made 'vile' comments about Kate Middleton sunbathing topless - will this make for awkward UK visit?

Prince William (R) and his wife Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge pose for pictures

The billionaire businessman, who was sworn in as President on January 20, has already been invited on a state visit where he would be hosted by the Queen.

But there are some comments he has made in the past which could make his trip incredibly awkward - about Kate Middleton's 'nude' sun

In 2012 the Duchess of Cambridge hit the headlines after paparazzi took photographs of her sunbathing topless on a private balcony while on holiday in France.

Kate and husband Prince William said they were "saddened" when French magazine Closer decided to publish the images. British publications did not follow suit.

Now that the post has come back into the spotlight, commentors have shown the same outrage.
"Once a disgusting pig, always a disgusting pig, Trump. Husband/Father/Grandfather of year, aren't ya," said one user.
Another user pointed out the hypocrisy or the tweet by posting  "didn't you get mad at cnn [sic] for using a picture of your face that you didn't like?"
