How True Is This Facebook Post About A couple Murdered By The husband's Brother
There has been this online story posted by some bloggers, Naij.com, etc making rounds on the internet About a man's brother who allegedly poisoned him and his wife and pictures of their foamy mouths were also posted. However, DV111 who do not just copy and paste any news or story that comes to her, decided to look up on the Facebook user who shared the post to ascertain its authenticity.
According to Pulse.com, a Nigerian social worker based in New York City, Aremo Ariola
who posted the sad incident on his Facebook page, the couple who were
based in Minnesota, had been sending money home for the brother to build
them a house but when they got home for the Christmas, they realized
that the brother had embezzled the money with nothing to show for the
huge amount they had been sending home...After eating the meal, the couple was found dead the next day on their bed. While Dv111 is grateful to Mr. Aremo for this info, i have to be really sure it did happen. Mr Aremo like others could even be victims of these false stories posted on his wall whether by him or anybody else.
A lot of times innocent Facebook users get post from other online users who share some stories to them and they innocently post it. Not knowing how true or false it is or whether it was even a killer who post pictures of its victims. That said, Was any food tested that showed it was poisoned? Was there an autopsy report? Was there An arrest?
The post did not give detailed information as to the names of the couple, the city or address where such happened or if the brother was caught or not. The authenticity of this post needs to be verified as a lot of murderers would kill and send pictures of their victims online n to innocent people.
This social worker needs to clarify us on the identity of the woman who he claimed sent the pictures to him. Too many story with little information is nothing.
Some Nigerians and bloggers are always very ready to spread fake or non investigated stories online news by copying, pasting and sharing. Until we can ascertain the authenticity of this story, the story should be read with a twink of an eye.
