Miss France wins Miss Universe 2017 competition and wants to 'advocate for oral hygiene'

Surprised winner of Miss Universe. Luckily for her Steve Harvey  who hosted the competition again, two years after he mistakenly announced the wrong winner didn't change his mind.
"I was very surprised I won, I feel blessed," said Mittenaere after winning the 65th edition of the annual competition.
On the Miss Universe website, the student had said she wanted "to advocate for dental and oral hygiene" if she won.

"Miss Universe was a dream, every girl wants to be Miss Universe...the stage is amazing, everything is amazing," Iris said.

Miss Nigeria... she tried though.

"I want to urge every woman to resist being discriminated against because of menstruation. I hope some people read wide and learn about menstrual health to stop the stereotype against young girls and women. "Yes my menses appeared 30 minutes to my performance and I had to put on a sanitary pad and still go on stage. "Menstruation is not a shame and I urge all young women take a cue from my actions and not to let it stop them from doing anything they want to do."
