Umar Muhammed, Lafia of the punch Newspaper has revealed that The Nasarawa State Police Command has arrested five suspects in connection to the killing of a Chinese national, a policeman and two others at a mining site in Wugibi Hills in Alogani area of Nasarawa Eggon Local Government Area of the state.


Parading some of the suspects at the police Investigation Intelligence Department on Friday in Lafia, the State Commissioner of Police, Abubakar Sadiq-Bello, said the three workers of CEDAR-BAY Mining Company were ambushed by the suspects while on their way back from the mining site on November 28, 2016.

The CP said investigations revealed that one Yahuza Yahaya was the leader of the criminal gang responsible for the ambush and killing of the three miners and their police escort
