The Media, EFCC, Diezani Who Amongst These Lots Are Reporting The Truth?

Its obvious that the media is fast loosing its credibility with its inconsistent yet judgmental stories. Just  weeks ago, it was reported by some media houses (names withheld)  that the Former Petroleum  Minister, Mrs. Deziani Alison-Madueke, had forfeited $153 million loot, as The EFCC had  obtained temporary order forfeiting the $153 million allegedly stashed away by the former minister in various accounts, to the federal government.
 Only yesterday, she had slammed the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission  (EFCC) for alleging that she stole $153 million from the till of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC. Why is Nigeria Like this?


She has also challenged the EFCC and the Federal Government to publish the details of the accounts, their owners and in which NNPC’s accounts the money was taken and when. She said she was saddened by what she called “media trial” by the EFCC and wondered what the commission was out to achieve by making “false and unsubstantiated claims” against her. She also denied owning a multi-billion Naira estate in Yenagoa, benefiting from the $1.3 billion Malabu Oil scandal.

The EFCC has kept mute since she slammed them. Hopefully cooking up another .

let the trial begin or the EFCC should let the woman be, if the only way they know is to bias the Judge's mindset in a matter that is already in court through the media.

EFCC Officials Forcefully Break Into An Expectant Woman's House at 3am

An expectant father has accused EFCC officials of breaking into his home in the middle of the night to conduct a search without a warrant. The man said he was at his home in Olokuta, Kemta, in Idi-Aba, Abeokuta between 3 am to 5 am, when some men forcefully broke into his house using a hammer.  He added that he was afraid they were armed robbers, so he hid in the guest bedroom with his pregnant wife as the men broke in through the sitting room window. According to him, the intruders claimed to be EFCC officials looking for "Yahoo boys", but they had no form of identification, neither did they have a search warrant.  Even without a search warrant, the victim alleged that they searched his house, damaged things, then left without as much as an apology.
