Man kills uncle during family meeting

A magistrate court in Osogbo, Osun State on Friday remanded a 22 year old bricklayer, Ismaila Fatai in prison for allegedly killing his uncle, Zakariyau Safiriyu during a family meeting at Fasina compound in Ede.

The police prosecutor, Olu Abodunrin told the court that Fatai killed the deceased by hitting him in the head with a stick on the 3rd of February, 2017.
The accused had no legal representative and his plea was not taken. Magistrate Olusola Aluko ordered that the accused be remanded in prison custody and adjourned the case till 27 April, 2017.
