Trump: 'We'll win' appeal of order blocking immigration ban by the 'So-called Judge'

President Trump on Saturday evening expressed confidence that the Justice Department would be successful in its appeal of a federal judge's ruling that temporarily blocked his executive action on immigration.
"We'll win. For the safety of the country we'll win," Trump told reporters at his private Mar-a-Lago resort, where he is spending the weekend.


The Justice Department filed a notice that it will formally appeal Judge James Robart's decision Friday that halted Trump's order.
The president's action would deny entry for 90 days to nationals from seven predominantly Muslim countries and halt the nation's refugee program for 120 days.
The case now goes to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

 Trump referred to Robart as a "so-called judge" while blasting his decision as "ridiculous" in tweets throughout the day, claiming that the temporary restraining order blocking his executive action would leave the nation vulnerable to "dangerous people."
