January till date Divaviva111.com took it upon herself to pray for the good health of the President. Irrespective of where we find ourselves today. The sufferings, the deaths, the suicides, hate, famine in the land can never be better if we fail to pray for those in power, while its good to criticize Leaders where they fall short of their promises, never fail to pray for them in your closet. As Christians we are exhorted to pray for our leaders. This is a command that comes without any political strings – APC, PDP or other party affiliation has no bearing on our need to raise up our President in prayer. As you pray for the President here are some biblical concepts that you should consider.
Paul, in his first letter to his disciple Timothy says this:

“I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.” (1 Timothy 2:1-4).

EFCC Officials Forcefully Break Into An Expectant Woman's House at 3am

An expectant father has accused EFCC officials of breaking into his home in the middle of the night to conduct a search without a warrant. The man said he was at his home in Olokuta, Kemta, in Idi-Aba, Abeokuta between 3 am to 5 am, when some men forcefully broke into his house using a hammer.  He added that he was afraid they were armed robbers, so he hid in the guest bedroom with his pregnant wife as the men broke in through the sitting room window. According to him, the intruders claimed to be EFCC officials looking for "Yahoo boys", but they had no form of identification, neither did they have a search warrant.  Even without a search warrant, the victim alleged that they searched his house, damaged things, then left without as much as an apology.
