Yay! Linda Ikeji Visits My Alma Mater, CDSS Ikeja...I Won A 20k Bet. Yeepy!

Oh yes, Command Day Secondary School (CDSS )Ikeja Military Cantonment would be feeling blessed as delectable, MTV Africa Music Award for Personality of the Year, Most influential woman in Africa 2016/17 Miss Linda Ikeji visits  my Alma Mater and guess what?  I just won a 20k bet, *dancing kukere* as i had told my sister i wished she visited our school... And she did! am so excited, these young girls needs her words of encouragement whether it be true or not, but what's more important is that knowledge and awareness is imparted. *Ok let me come and be going*



  According to Miss Linda Ikeji, she visited Command Day Secondary School which is located inside the Nigerian Army Cantonment, after Maryland, Ikeja. It was the largest audience I've had and the only public school I've been to so far in the Selfmade tour. It was definitely a different but memorable experience. I saw myself in so many of the girls, and I hope that all their dreams come true. The girls and teachers were extremely gracious and full of love and kindness. This tour has been amazing!

Her statement read in part;  "Regardless of my costume being transparent, my only option was to put on a sanitary pad and still go ahead to perform. I am a woman and I’m not ashamed of menstruating. "I want to urge every woman to resist being discriminated against because of menstruation. I hope some people read wide and learn about menstrual health to stop the stereotype against young girls and women. "Yes my menses appeared 30 minutes to my performance and I had to put on a sanitary pad and still go on stage. "Menstruation is not a shame and I urge all young women take a cue from my actions and not to let it stop them from doing anything they want to do."

Over the weeks now Nigerians are being saddled with the news about the police refusing to leave the premises of a serving Senator, Dino Melaye, but some Nigerians online expect that this over-zealousness at getting the Senator could possibly be used in securing lives and properties of Nigerians on a daily basis.
