#YesToCamouNoToBrutality. Brutalised Crippled Man By Some Nigerian Soldiers Must Be Highly Compensated.

Soldiers brutalise crippled man in Onitsha 'for wearing camouflage'

Is it really a crime to put on Camouflage?  I don't know but i need to understand this. During my school days while  traveling to Ebonyi state for a friends' wedding, we were stopped by some soldiers on the high way.  The moment they sited one of us (girl) who wore a camouflage pants and army Green coloured tank top, it  ignited their fury just like when the bull sees the colour red. Shooooo! all man was like WTF! I quickly gave an eye signal to my chick to shut up as her slangs no go work for here o no be America u dey bae!The soldiers asked her ''to remove your trawuser foolish girl''. Wonderful!

ah this one don pass be careful oh. A male student who accompanied us wanted to plead on her behalf, i quickly hushed him cause i knew what may befall him.  Then i began chanting or how else would i say it. I started shouting at my friend,  ''take off your pant now, soldier say remove am and you stand there, obedience is better than soldier slap oh! My other friends followed suit and kept telling her to take it off.  The soldiers were perplexed. Omo my babe been sharp and understood her friend was being mischievous began to take it off oh. In my heart i was like God please do something... And he did. The moment the soldiers saw she was willing to take off her pants, they screamed ''you fool, why u want embarrassing me? i say take off your trawuser and you remove and you carry tissue for pant? (her period) common get into the car and leave. all of you are bad friends get out all of u''. Aha God! okpe o! I zoomed off.

While on motion and thanking God for sparing us, My friends asked me how i knew they would react that way. i told them i didn't know, but i knew that this was a pretty girl in front of them, the moment we begged and nothing was happening, i just thought i should be on their side and concur with them. I really don't know how it worked.  We were lucky But for others it has been a case of brutality, death, if you are alive an embarrassing event in your life.

One is made to believe that These Soldiers have the authority from their superior to beat up civilians who they see wearing the army 'camou'. This brutality is not just happening today and the Nigerian Army cannot deny the fact that this has been happening for years. It is either they come out and give real reasons why its citizens cannot put on a camouflage trouser and shirt even when some 'camous' are not as close as the colour of the Army's uniform. If These soldiers could this to a defenseless crippled man then i wonder what becomes of many others.

Obviously from the video one could see that the crippled man's hand was almost ripped off by the soldier who continuously concentrated on his right arm by hitting it continuously with an iron or something. I have been privileged to have some Army officers as friends and i usually asked them if they were once like that before they attained their current position. Their reply is in the negative. Bad eggs would always be in every establishment institutions.

Since these soldiers are combatant in nature, The Army should send these overzealous soldiers to war zones, sambisa forest and the likes. These are the kind of people who are determined to kill for whatever reason. They are ready to defend their country, They have no business being within a peaceful environment. All they smell is blood and where they need to be is at the Sambisa Forest to disarm the real enemies of our land.

The crippled man needs to be compensated for such brutality just for cherishing the people who save his country and defend her unity by putting on a camouflage. If it were a celeb who wore a 'camou' would they treat him same way?

Or what say you?
