I Was Not Harrassed Or Sent Back At The Airport Stop Putting Fear Into Nigerians With Valid US Visas

A young woman who just recently traveled to the US sent in a mail to divaviva111.com this morning, thanking us for giving her the lever (courage) to travel to the US after our publication on the blog http://www.divaviva111.com/2017/03/nigerians-can-travel-to-us-no.html that the Minister of Foreign Affairs has said no Immigration Officer at the Airport would send back any Nigerian back. Here is what she sent in her mail.

''Dear DV111,

''Hi my name is M.O and am writing this to thank you and the minister of foreign affairs who had alerted Nigerians to disregard the warning information by Mrs Abike Dabiri
or so seriously warning us that we should postpone our travel till further notice or risk being deported and our valid visas cancelled. Honestly i was so scared, i wanted to cancel my trip, but after i read on your blog which try to clarify already rumoured news as you always and you told us what the minister of foreign said that we should disregard Abike's warning, i gathered muscle and with the support of my family i was able to go for the vacation i had already booked for and paid for. If they want to turn an innocent person back to her country, then so mote it be, after all i love my country and travelling to the US was just an added advantage to tour. So i was no longer scared. But DV am so worried that blogs and newspapers are still posting that some people were turned back.

My journey was fun, i was well greeted at the airport and there was no issue at all.

Please let Nigerians who really have valid visas and are traveling genuinely not be afraid. The Trump policy does not affect us perhaps those sent back have hidden agendas i may not know about. But every single one of us were not disturbed at all. Even a girl who was shaking like jelly fish was not even embarrassed and you could just see her feeling so happy after passage.
