Lawyers and Judges Are In Abusive Relationships But Afraid To Speak Out.

Just lying down on the  hard floor, and tryna fanthom  how a once loving man or woman could turn out to be an abuser and why these abused still stay. I recalled the books i had read many years ago not even knowing i would one day write on this issue. Many believe that abusive relationships are limited to lower-income families or to certain ethnic or cultural groups. Or to just to women. This is not true. Even some lawyers and judges you run to for divorce or advice are into it but their case is so worse as they cannot talk about it. Irony of life!  Individuals from all backgrounds are abused. Often they suffer alone for a long time, not wanting to admit they are being abused. Judges and lawyers get abused but are usually in the category of those who won't admit it to anyone.

Even though there is no such thing as a typical abuser, some studies suggest that there is a typical pattern to abuse. It is referred to as the cycle of violence. It has three distinct phases. During the first phase tension, frustration and anger on the part of the abuser may gradually build up over time. The build-up period may range from days to months, or possibly even years.

As the tension builds, the possibility that abuse will occur becomes greater. At some point an explosion occurs; this is the second phase. The abuse may last minutes or may continue over a period of days.

Following the abuse there is usually a period of relative calm; this is the third phase. It is often referred to as the honeymoon phase. During this phase the abuser is likely to apologize to the victim and try to make amends.

Then the cycle repeats itself. The question is, Would you wait until you die in the name of marriage, in the name of 'what will be say about me', My family, my kids' Do you really think that anybody really cares? Nobody really cares people! At the end of the day people will blame you for staying still.

Well, if you are a judge or lawyer or any helpless one in an abusive relationship and you feel you can't leave, before you meet your Waterloo why not do something that won't hurt him or her, but could make you feel good, like using his/her tooth brush to scrub the toilet, or clean up your butt with it, dry it and watch him using it to brush his teeth the next day

Hope i wasn't too harsh...*wink* It is your life, it does not matter if you married to him or her... especially the he...only 2% of women are abusers....am i right on this, or wrong.

until next time....
