oH oH! Arsenal SufferS Another Sorry European Miserable Capitulation

The night actually started well before turning into complete and utter humiliation.

But as the goals rained in during another second half meltdown, the pressure on Arsene Wenger mounted to the point of his position surely becoming untenable.

In fairness, the boos from the Arsenal fans at the final whistle were more aimed at Greek referee Tasos Sidiropoulos and his fellow officials.

But there was still no excuse for another sorry, miserable capitulation which was exactly the same story and scoreline from the first leg in the Allianz Arena.

Bayern are a brilliant side but you cannot take Arsenal seriously as a genuine European force if you concede TEN goals over the course of two legs.

The first half gave Arsenal hope, Theo Walcott fired them into a half time lead and restored some pride with a battling, brave response to restore some pride.

But the second half, ten men or not, highlighted all of Arsenal’s problems as Bayern cut through the home defence like a knife through butter oh dear...tear drops!


 Am just wondering if Alexis Sanchez was LAUGHING on the bench during Arsenal's hammering by Bayern Munich.
