Husband refuses to leave wife’s side when she’s put in isolation for cancer treatment

A teenager has shared a moving picture of her father sitting outside her mother’s room when she was put in isolation after undergoing radiation treatment for cancer.

Marci Newman, 49, was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in October last year and has been in and out of hospital since then.



Her husband, John, has been there for her the entire time, as any good husband would be.

He moved his desk and a chair to sit outside the room where Marci was in isolation so that he could keep her company following radioactive iodine treatment.
