It's Unfair to Accept Payment for JAMB/Registration Form Yet Deprive The Candidates From Writing

The Educational system in Nigeria  is quite very expensive, yet our supposed educated scholars who are in top position to ease the stress and difficulty of those who have used their only source of income to purchase a form supposedly needed to gain admission into any institution in the country is marred by stress, frustration and embarrassing difficulty. Why allow the applicants purchase the form when you know only a 240 centers are expected to  be in use  as against the over 600 e-registration centres that were formerly in use throughout the federation.
The Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board (JAMB) as headed by Prof. Is-haq Olarenwaju Oloyede has introduced a very cumbersome process of registering candidates for the 2017 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).This is unfair and unacceptable. The stress of getting a Remitta code then After facing the rigorous stress of payment at the bank and then the worse of it all queuing under the scourging sun and heat to only approved CBT centres for thumb printing and filling of online forms. This hell!

While parents and applicants had thought that ease of access would be improved as against what was in place, things have gone worse than expected. Inspite of several appeal by some persons, zones, states affected and media houses publishing each travails, the stress and difficulty continues.

Unless the Oloyede-led team eases the stress and difficulty meted by these individuals, it would be very unfair to take fees from applicants and after they have paid to write JAMB, they are deprived from doing same.

It's sad!
