Three dead after shooting inside primary school special needs classroom


Three people including a child, aged 8, are dead after a shooting inside a primary school special needs classroom.

A pupil, their teacher and the shooter all died in the attack which happened at around 10.30am local time in San Bernadino, California.

Another pupil, aged nine, is in a critical condition.


The children are believed to have been hit because they were standing close to their teacher, who was gunned down by a man who entered the school to kill his estranged wife.

Photos from the scene show children being led away hand in hand, while parents were informed of the shooting at North Park Elementary.
