Teebilz Goes Free While Textile Woman Arraigned for Attempted Suicide after Botched Lagoon Suicide, Granted N500k Bail

After the failed attempt of the textile woman Mrs. Titilayo Momoh, to commit suicide on the 3rd mainland bridge, she was charged to court for attempted suicide. A woman who almost killed herself because she had lost everything was slammed with a 500k bail. Lol! if she had someone to surety her for a new business proposal of that sum, am very sure she wouldn't have attempted suicide. I appeal to The courts to take things easy in granting bail and bail conditions. The poor are usually used to set as a scapegoat where a dead law is being resurrected in this part of the world.
Ebute-Meta Magistrates Court, Lagos, on Monday ordered Mrs. Titilayo Momoh, to undergo psychiatric evaluation following her arraignment by the police
The 58 year old textile dealer was granted N500,000 bail with two sureties in like sum.
The woman was on March 24 stopped from jumping off the 3rd Mainland Bridge into the Lagoon by operatives of the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) of the Lagos State Police Command.
