A pregnant teenager drowned in the bath after having an epileptic fit – and couldn’t be saved despite desperate efforts from friends.
A distraught friend has talked about how she pulled Megan Walsh’s ‘lifeless’ body out of the bath and performed CPR in a bid to save her life.
The 19-year-old was 14 weeks pregnant, according to 9News.

Her friend said that she knocked on the bathroom door, but had no response.
She said, ‘I open the door and there she is lifeless in my bathtub. Cold, white, unresponsive, not breathing, blue lips, dead weight.

‘It was traumatizing.’
Her sister, Jemma, 22, said that Megan had begun suffering from absent seizures after she became pregnant.
Jemma said, ‘When she fell pregnant, the medication started going through her body a lot quicker and they could not get the seizures under control.’

‘She was so excited. It was ridiculous. She was only 14 weeks when she passed… but she had ideas for baby names.’
Her family are now raising money via GoFundMe for an Australian epilepsy charity.
