Stephen Fry faces blasphemy investigation after calling God an 'utter maniac'
Stephen Fry is being investigated for blasphemy after he called God an ‘utter maniac’ during a television interview, it has been claimed.

The member of the public, who wished to withhold their name, told the news outlet it was their ‘civic duty’ to report the comments; which included calling God ‘capricious’ and ‘mean-minded’.


He alleges the remarks were in breach of the Defamation Act.

Police have said they will not comment on a complaint of ‘blasphemy’ reportedly made against Stephen Fry.

"Yes my menses appeared 30 minutes to my performance and I had to put on a sanitary pad and still go on stage. "Menstruation is not a shame and I urge all young women take a cue from my actions and not to let it stop them from doing anything they want to do."
