How would you celebrate stepping up to the podium to receive your degree? Would just step up calmly, smile and receive it or will you add some spice to your strut? Well this Ghanaian student decided to 'do the Shoki' as he went up to receive his degree. Shared via his Instagram page, Isaac Adu-Gyamfi (@isaac_adu1) in this video, is seen taking off his graduation gown to show off his Kente ensemble.

Right before taking his degree, he and his fellow graduate friend did the Shoki dance before heading off the podium, much to the cheers and delight of all present.

"Menstruation is not a shame and I urge all young women take a cue from my actions and not to let it stop them from doing anything they want to do."
