I saw this photo on my Facebook page posted by a User Mr. George. It cracked me up and i thought i'd  share... I know the olodos in school would be so happy to see this...I recall that moment my teacher had to put me in the front seat knowing fully well i was relying on some friends in school during exams. The gurl in same front row as me almost fell off her chair trying to ensure i did not copy her while i was *giraffeing* But today, who this attitude epp?

Following the backlash that trailed her performance at Shatta Wale's Reign Concert over the weekend, Ghanaian singer,  Fantana  has now released a statement.  The singer stated that she is not ashamed of being a woman and also mesntruating. Her statement read in part;  "Regardless of my costume being transparent, my only option was to put on a sanitary pad and still go ahead to perform. I am a woman and I’m not ashamed of menstruating. "I want to urge every woman to resist being discriminated against because of menstruation. I hope some people read wide and learn about menstrual health to stop the stereotype against young girls and women. "Yes my menses appeared 30 minutes to my performance and I had to put on a sanitary pad and still go on stage. "Menstruation is not a shame and I urge all young women take a cue from my actions and not to let it stop them from doing anything they want to do."

Over the weeks now Nigerians are being saddled with the news about the police refusing to leave the premises of a serving Senator, Dino Melaye, but some Nigerians online expect that this over-zealousness at getting the Senator could possibly be used in securing lives and properties of Nigerians on a daily basis. What are his friends saying about this? why is there silence over this issue? Whose toes has the serving senator stepped on?
