#IStandWithPius: Lawyers Across Nigeria Stage Protest Today

Lawyers across the country and especially the FCT Abuja are getting ready to 'Walk Our Talk' and Time is slated to be 8:30AM today.


 Venue: Mpape Magistrate Court, FCT Abuja.

One of the lawyer's forum have this to say
Not only are we demanding bail for Pius and David, we are demanding a stop to Police brutality.
Citizens rights must be protected. Pius and David are getting hyped attention because they are lawyers but Nigerians go through this wicked acts of the Police and the Magistrate on daily basis!
I am joining the protest, as I see Pius and David, as catalysts to demand for; NO TO CORRUPTION IN THE JUDICIARY. ��NO TO POLICE AND MAGISTRATES COLLUSION TO ABUSE NIGERIANS.
��NO TO ARBITRARY BAIL CONDITIONS. ��NO TO DENYING A DEFENDANT ACCESS TO HIS LAWYER. ��NO TO EXPENSIVE ACCESS TO JUSTICE!! I STAND WITH PIUS UDO-INYANG AND DAVID AMAEFULA!

"Yes my menses appeared 30 minutes to my performance and I had to put on a sanitary pad and still go on stage. "Menstruation is not a shame and I urge all young women take a cue from my actions and not to let it stop them from doing anything they want to do."

Over the weeks now Nigerians are being saddled with the news about the police refusing to leave the premises of a serving Senator, Dino Melaye, but some Nigerians online expect that this over-zealousness at getting the Senator could possibly be used in securing lives and properties of Nigerians on a daily basis.
