Aguero: How I Almost Missed 2018 World Cup

Sergio Aguero has recounted how he almost missed this year's FIFA World Cup 2018 due to a knee injury which had troubled hm for over 5 years.

Jorge Sampoali's 35 man provisional squad  had included his name earlier this week.


Aguero said that the surgery he underwent had healed his kneel problem. He said his knee feels like new.

"Yes my menses appeared 30 minutes to my performance and I had to put on a sanitary pad and still go on stage. "Menstruation is not a shame and I urge all young women take a cue from my actions and not to let it stop them from doing anything they want to do."
