First Lady Melanie Trump Successfully Undergoes Kidney Surgerty

She is the first First Lady to undergo a procedure in decades since the Nancy Regan had a Mastectomy in 1897. There was no particularly no sign on the First Lady through the last week of her public appearance and the benign kidney issues.

Though the president was not with Mrs Trump, he spoke to her on the phone before the procedure and with her doctor after the procedure the office of the First Lady says.

The first lady is expected to make a full recovery soon.

"Yes my menses appeared 30 minutes to my performance and I had to put on a sanitary pad and still go on stage. "Menstruation is not a shame and I urge all young women take a cue from my actions and not to let it stop them from doing anything they want to do."
