'' I felt lost like a child'' says British tourist, 50, who was drugged and gang-raped by a dozen men in Italy'

A 50 year old woman has recounted her ordeal in the hands of a dozen young men in Italy and this is the most bizarre attck i i have ever seen. 

It is alleged the holidaymaker and her daughter were served drinks laced with date rape drugs by two hotel barmen.

The daughter was said to have started vomiting in a hotel bathroom and avoided the attack.


The pair ordered the mother not to scream and then took her to a nearby swimming pool where they sexually assaulted her, police say.

She was later taken to a staff dormitory at the hotel where up to a dozen men were waiting and took turns to rape her, Repubblica reports.

The woman said in a statement reported by Italian media: "It seemed like I was living in a dream, it wasn't happening to me - I felt lost like a child.


It was said the woman was on the last night of her holiday in Italy
"It was as if they were waiting for me, and at that point I was afraid and I realised what would happen."

Police chief Donatella Grassi, who is in charge of the investigation, said: "I have never seen anything like this."

It was claimed the attack happened on the last night of the British woman's trip as the suspects hoped she would fly back home and choose not to report it.

Fortunately, according to the Mirror UK,
Police were able to identify a number of suspects from the footage and linked the alleged perpetrators to the crime using photographic materials obtained during searches and DNA evidence.
