Name Confusion: Dr. Dre Loses Trademark Dispute Against Gynecologist Dr. Drai:

Dr. Dre has reportedly lost his ongoing trademark dispute with a Pennsylvania-based gynecologist after Dr. Dre attempted to stop the gynecologist from trademarking the name Dr. Drai.

Dr. Dre, whose real name is Andre Romelle Young, launched the case in 2015. Dr. Dre argued that the name "Dr. Drai,"
used by Dr. Draion M. Burch, could cause "confusion" with his fans since the gynecologist is also a media personality and planned to offer books and seminars using the pseudonym, according to BBC. However, the US Trademark Court dismissed Dr. Dre's cause and concluded that Dr. Dre and Burch's respective careers are in no way similar, so the chances of fans becoming confused are pretty slim.

"Yes my menses appeared 30 minutes to my performance and I had to put on a sanitary pad and still go on stage. "Menstruation is not a shame and I urge all young women take a cue from my actions and not to let it stop them from doing anything they want to do."
