Shortly after the senate at plenary recently declared the IGP an enemy of democracy and unfit to hold any public office within and outside the country for failing to honour its invitation thrice, the internet has been on fire over the video of the embarrassing speech of the Inspector General of Police struggling to read his speech, making multiple errors and unable to pronounce words.

Divaviva111 being a blog that writes about social experiences and truths reason why we do not post quickly everything we see to attract traffic. We are concerned if the video was real or just one funny IT individual trying to cause trouble.


What's worse was even after he got a help from one of his aids, he got even more distorted.

The Inspector-General, who hails from Kutigi, Lavun in Niger State, was born on 15th of January 1959, and was enlisted into the Nigerian Police Force in 1984, after graduating from the Ahmadu Bello University Zaria with a Bachelors degree in Agriculture. He also holds a degree in Law from the University of Maiduguri.

IG Idris has served in various commands and formations in the Nigerian Police Force, working in the Police Mobile Force for 17 years as Unit Commander, Squadron Commander, and Commandant. He served as Commissioner of Police in Nasarawa and Kano States and was also the Commissioner of Police in charge of Police Mobile Force at the Force Headquarters.

"Yes my menses appeared 30 minutes to my performance and I had to put on a sanitary pad and still go on stage. "Menstruation is not a shame and I urge all young women take a cue from my actions and not to let it stop them from doing anything they want to do."
