Who Told You That Tiwa Savage Is Naked? A Biblical Approach to Tiwa's Ripped Jean Stage Outfit

So many of us are condemning Tiwa Savage a mother of one of her stage outfit yesterday. Some Christian scholars associate nudity with sin, shame. But does God consider it a sin?

“And the man and his wife were both naked and were not ashamed” (Gen. 2:25).

Shame has not always been associated with nakedness. “Naked” is used as a descriptor 104 times in Scripture. Depending on the context, it can indicate innocence, purity, defenselessness, vulnerability, helplessness, humiliation, shame, guilt, and judgment. At times, it may indicate several of these qualities within a single context, so the context must be read carefully to grasp how it is specifically being used.

As a man thinketh in his heart, so he is. Because Nigerians are full of sin even with all the churches at the nook and crannies of their environs, yet have altered views about themselves.

The day i gave my life to Christ, old things became new. You parade yourself naked before me is like nothing to me because your nakedness is just a covering for your soul and spirit. However, you choose to use the nakedness is entirely up to you.


It is not a sin to see someone naked, but it is a sin to look lustfully at someone (even if that person is clothed): Mat. 5:28.

Now Jesus came into the world to wash our sins after the fall of man. The work of his  blood was to cleanse us from the sin of Adam and Eve.  If he truly did come to cleanse us from all unrighteousness as we were told, why would you look at Tiwa's butt and see it as shameful when you are made anew. Perhaps you still live in that sin and shame.

The best thing is to give your life completely to God. Trust me, you would no longer be of the world. You would see people as just a cloth used to cover their souls.

That is why Jesus teaches us that it is not he who goes into a woman that has committed sin, but the mere thought of it. Sexual sin is more in the mind than the physical we do.
