#2019Election: APC On Twitter Shares Fate Of Candidates Who Emerge From Factional Political Parties

Chief Okoi Obono-Obla, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Prosecution, Federal Republic of Nigeria has taken to the All Progressives Party's Twitter handle to quote Section 31 subsection 1 of the Electoral Act, 2010 as the overall guiding force for all candidates chosen by political parties in Nigeria.

Read what he posted of the fate of candidates who emerge from a faction of same political parties and read afterwards a lawyer's position with reference to decided cases. You may call her Diva if you wish.

Furthermore, If the primary election which produced the factional winner was not conducted by the National Body of the party, it is a nullity. You cannot forward names to INEC. See the case of KHAKI V. PDP., EMENIKE V. PDP. SYLVA V. PDP. etc.
